Upcoming Events?

Hello everybody! Now that Les Mis is over :( we won't get to see each other every day at practice. I was wondering if any of you are in upcoming shows. I think that everyone in the cast would like to see a fellow cast member in another show! If you write all of the details on this fine blog (which was made for this very reason) we can all get together and see it! You will have your own personal little Les Mis posse waiting to congratulate you after the show :) Well anyhue... write down all your informational such and such so that we can come see your shows!

I know Andrew is in the History Boys at ART soon. I think it opens in a few weeks. Show we go?

I'm in... anyone else? I just looked on the website. It runs from April 29th through June 8th. We should do a quick poll to see which date suits most people. Looks like it runs most evenings but I'd prefer a weekend show. Do you know what part Andrew has?

I'm down.

I'm playing a Giant in The Big Friendly Giant at Tigard High School. It opens this weekend! April 24th-26th at 7pm. Tickets about $6 at the door.

Stephen-
The BFG? I loved that book! I'll make it if I can.

Anybody got ideas as to when we should go? I have to tech Robin Hood at BMT in May...

It think that the Saturday night performance works the best. I can't go to the other performances. Roald Dahl stuff makes me chuckle. I use his version of Little Red Riding Hood as my audition monologue. In the end she kills the wolf and wears his fur as a jacket! Not just an innocent fairytale after all...
What is BMT Greg? When exactly in May is it? My Grandparents are coming over then and it might be something that we could take them to.
Well I hope to see a bunch of Les Misers at the performance on Saturday!
Thats all for now,
Becca

Becca-
I intern at Blue Monkey Theatre with Jordan. It's a teen-centered theatre company...for kids who are too old for NWCT but too young for ART or PCS etc.

Doesn't that BMT thing conflict with Andy's show? Do you need to be there every night? It's coolio that Jordan is an intern too. My Mum is gonna get tickets for the BFG tommorow for the Saturday night show. Yuppers...

Hey, anyone know anyone in the "Ghosts of Treasure Island" show by Oregon Children's Theater? The whole seventh grade in my school are going to see it on Friday.

I am in. I think it would be so fun if we all went together! When we figure out the date/show that we are going, let me know.
I am very happy to see it.
Keep me posted! Miss everyone!

I am going to see the BFG tomorrow night. I just found out that one of my really good friends' sister is in the show also!
We are going to see Robin Hood May 23rd. I am going with my family, but if there is going to be anyone else there it would be nice to see you. Are you teching that night Greg?
So, does anyone want to suggest a date that we could all go and see the History Boys?
Becca x x x
P.S. Hopefully more cast members have a look at this blog and we can get a good group of Les Misers meeting up to see things...

Rebecca, thanks for comming last night! It's a shame I wasn't able to talk to you but we had to stay in character.

Ahhh, Becca, you are so sweet for going to the BFG. I really wanted to go, but my Aunt is in town from PA, and I couldn't leave her. Hope to see you guys soon. See ya at History Boys!

The BFG was fantabulous! I really enjoyed it. My wee brother found it especially hillarious... you might have heard him laugh. He was pretty loud. He laughed the loudest when you sang your little "I feel pretty" solo. Did you make the head/mask things? They were amazing! So was the mighty giant theme song. And the cage idea at the end! You know what? Everything was good.
I'm glad that you told me aboiut it!

That's quite alright Greg.

And Rebecca, I'm glad you enjoyed it so much! As for the heads, we have a wonderful costume designer who comes in and works with us named Jim Crino. He put in so much work on them. The cage idea was our Lobby Manager's idea, and the theme song was the director's idea. We all came up with our own solos though... :)

Dang flabbit! My grandparents will be in town so I can't go that night. I've also got a soccer game...last one of the season. Is anyone else planning on going another night. I'll probably be going with my Mum but I'd still love to see some other les Missers. I'm going to see Robin Hood with my family on the 23rd...grandparents and all. Greg, will you or/and Jordan be around that night to say Hi after the show? Oh and Greg, did you go see Morgan's play?

Hi Becca-
I'm at Robin Hood every night...so I will be around. Paul will probably be there, too, since he's playing the Sheriff the last week (not sure if the 23rd counts).

And I did go see Morgan's play. It was REALLY good...but REALLY NOT MEANT FOR ANYONE UNDER 16. Sorry, tons of adult themes and actions. Very good, but Becca (this is in your best interest) don't go. Same for anybody that isn't at least a sophomore in high school. But still really good :)

Robin Hood is very entertaining. The swordfighting is first-rate, and there's even a bull-whip fight!

Hope all is well,
-Greg

Greg,
Good to hear that Morgan's play was good - my Mum and I read the summary and decided that maybe it wasn't the best play that we should go see. No worries about me going.

Awestacular! I could probably catch you after the show is over. Robin Hood sounds like a really good play! My whole family is going to see it. Unfortunately, I don't think that the 23rd is a night when Paul is there. Dang Flabbit!

Guess what? My Mum and Dad went to a KT Tunstall concert and they bumped into Meredith. She's Fantine in the other Les Mis! That is yet another reason that we should all go along and see it. Cassie and Kaitlin H. are in the ensamble and my friend Alex is Gavroche. *he is also one of Andrew's voice students*

We don't have a date yet that we are going to see the History Boys, but Mum and I really want to see it! We need to find a date to see that and to see the other Les Mis. I'll probably be seeing Les Mis at the end of June/start of July. I'll be in Italy and then California for most of July.

Well, I hope that everyone is doing well! Feel free to start a brand new blog if you have any more upcoming events
